The Brooklyn Brothers is one of only two agencies in the world working directly within Unilever, a partnership that started in 2021. In 2023, that relationship grew into a dedicated team, DET, which leads web development for ten global brands, including Dove, TRESemmé and Axe, across 100+ locales, working mostly inside Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and covering everything from site builds to accessibility and SEO. Each brand has a single point of contact, who owns the relationship while the wider team handles the work.

Supporting 100+ locales across different time zones is its own kind of problem: a US brand's morning fix and a European team's afternoon deadline can land the same day, both needing an answer. Being based in Brazil helps, our hours overlap well with both regions, keeping response times consistent either way.
Handling that volume also meant building real structure behind the scenes: clear standards for how fast each request gets resolved, so nothing sits waiting to be noticed.

DET is now responsible for the full digital experience across all ten Unilever brands, wherever they operate. That scope was earned by consistently getting the fundamentals right and holding every site to strict performance and accessibility standards.
Last quarter, the team closed with a 100% Operational Level Agreement score, meaning every request, regardless of urgency or region, was resolved within the timeline it needed. The result users never see: millions of people getting a Unilever site that simply works.
